Les has joined our team bringing with him over 25 years of experience in guiding businesses like ours through current success, and helping to deliver our potential for all of our stakeholders.
Les is a keen skier and off-road motorcyclist, a dedicated father, and strongly believes in supporting charitable causes.
We are delighted to welcome Les Leavitt onto the Castle team as our new Financial Director.
Les Leavitt took over as Managing Director of Leavitt Walmsley Associates Ltd (LWA) in 2001, and under his guidance, the firm has grown significantly, predominantly from client recommendations – something that Les has worked hard to achieve. The firm has been recognised at the British Accountancy Awards and is accredited as Gold Partner for both Xero and Receipt Bank – two globally renowned cloud based accountancy software providers. Les has strengthened his position as a business leader, sitting on the boards of a number of north west SMEs as Non-Executive Finance Director.
The team at LWA have acted as accountants and advisors for Castle Chemicals Ltd since the inception of the business, and in 2020 Les has been appointed to the role of Non-Executive Finance Director to assist the senior management team in delivering further success for the business.
